Our Mission, Purpose, and Philosophy
At Sunrise Learning Academy, our mission is clear: to provide quality childcare at a reasonable rate, within a safe and nurturing environment. We believe in offering an early learning experience that fosters appreciation for and understanding of diverse cultures while promoting family and community support.
Our purpose extends beyond mere childcare. We are committed to accepting children of all backgrounds, ages 6 weeks to 12 years, without discrimination. Our aim is to cultivate an environment where every child can develop self-esteem, individuality, and a lifelong love for learning. We adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, while integrating technology and exposing students to various cultural aspects such as arts, music, food, language, and history.

Our Philosophy
Sunrise Learning Academy’s philosophy is to provide the best quality care in a safe and educational environment. We create learning experiences through play and implement the diversity and creative thoughts of each individual child. We strive to teach self-respect, independence and respect for others and help children develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Our goals are as follows:
- To endorse a sensitive, well-balanced approach to child development designed to stimulate the growth of the “whole child.”
- To nurture each child as an individual and to instill qualities of future leaders.
- To work together with the parents through conferences and parent workshops to develop a successful future for each child.
Our Staff
At Sunrise Learning Academy, our teachers seek to provide a warm secure environment, treating each child with love and respect. Our teachers are continually trained in the field of Early Childhood Education. We require all teachers to have a minimum of a CDA certificate. Bright From The Start(BFTS) requires 10 hours of training per year. The entire staff must attend workshops, classes and in-service training to keep updated on current trends and teaching techniques.

Our Center is a smoke and drug free environment for the safety and health of our children and staff. No one is permitted to smoke or use tobacco products in the premises. Having or using drugs or alcohol is prohibited.
